Game: Alchemist Puzzle Recipe (Android, com.grimp.puzzle.recipe)
Developer: grimp
Last updated: October 6, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Alchemist Puzzle Recipe (the “Game”) processes, why it does so, who receives it, and what choices you have. The Game is developed and published by grimp (“we”, “us”, “our”), the controller responsible for the personal information described here.

In short

1. Information we process

1.1 Information you give us

The Game has no registration form and never asks you to type in personal details. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and anything you choose to include, and we use them only to answer you.

1.2 Information stored only on your device

Your game progress and settings stay on your device: current level and stars, gems, energy, hints and boosters, discovered recipes, daily challenge progress, tutorial status, chosen language, music and sound settings, your purchases' status, and whether you have accepted this Policy and the Terms of Service. Level pictures you have downloaded are cached on your device so that levels you have played work offline. We do not receive this data. It is deleted when you clear the Game's data or uninstall the Game.

1.3 Game account (Google Play Games)

On Android the Game signs you in through Google Play Games Services when it is available on your device. Google gives the Game a one-time sign-in code, which is exchanged with Google Firebase Authentication for a Firebase user ID. This ID is a random string: it identifies your game account but contains no name or email address. Firebase Authentication stores it together with your Play Games player ID, the basic Play Games profile details Google provides for sign-in (such as your gamer name), and the dates the account was created and last used. We do not receive the email address of your Google account.

1.4 Game records in our cloud database

When you are signed in, the Game writes the following records to our database (Google Cloud Firestore). Each record is linked to your Firebase user ID.

RecordWhat it containsWhen it is written
Progress The highest number of levels you have completed, the Game version and the time of the update Every few completed levels
“Remove ads” purchase That ads are removed for your account, the purchase service that confirmed it, the Game version and the time Once, after a purchase or a restore
Ad delivery report That an ad could not be shown, the ad network, the ad type, the outcome, the Game version, the platform and the time When an ad fails to load
Level loading report The level number, a technical error message and the time When a level fails to download

Players cannot read these records, neither their own nor anyone else's. Only we can see them, in the Firebase console.

1.5 Leaderboard

The Game submits the number of levels you have completed to a Google Play Games leaderboard. Other players can see your result next to your Play Games gamer name and avatar, according to the profile visibility settings you choose in the Google Play Games app.

1.6 Game content downloads

The Game downloads levels, game settings and level pictures from Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Storage). These requests contain no account information. As with any internet request, Google receives your device's IP address in order to deliver the data. We do not store IP addresses.

1.7 Purchases

In-app purchases, such as energy packs, “Remove ads” and the “Lifetime” pack, are paid through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we never receive your payment card details. Our purchase-management provider RevenueCat receives the purchase details from Google Play (product, purchase token, price, currency, store country, time and status) together with an anonymous RevenueCat user ID, basic device information (operating system, Game version, language and region) and your IP address. We use this to confirm purchases, deliver what you bought and restore permanent purchases, such as “Remove ads” and “Lifetime”, on a new device.

1.8 Advertising data

Google AdMob collects data to show ads in the Game. See section 3.

1.9 What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address (other than emails you send us), phone number, postal address, contacts, photos or files, camera or microphone data, precise location, health data or any other sensitive information. We do not ask for your age or date of birth.

2. How we use information

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, the legal basis for each purpose is shown in brackets.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time (see section 7). We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.

3. Advertising

The Game is free to play and is funded by ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: interstitial ads between levels and rewarded video ads. To serve ads, limit how often you see them, measure them and prevent ad fraud, Google may collect:

Google acts as an independent controller of this data. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your choices:

4. Who receives information

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for money. We share it only with the providers that run parts of the Game for us:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our players or of us, or if the Game is sold or transferred to another developer. In that case the new owner must follow this Policy.

5. International transfers

Our database and file storage are hosted by Google in the United States (Cloud Firestore, United States multi-region; Cloud Storage, us-east1). Our providers may also process information in other countries. When personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred, our providers protect it with recognised safeguards, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK and Swiss extensions, or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live (for example in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Brazil or certain US states), you may have the right to:

We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

How to make a request: email us at malenkuy016@gmail.com. We do not know your name or email address, so please include your Google Play Games gamer name (shown in the Play Games app). It lets us find your game account. We answer within one month, free of charge. We may ask for more information to make sure the request comes from the account holder.

Things you can do yourself:

US residents: we do not sell personal information for money. Showing personalized ads through Google AdMob may count as “sharing” for targeted advertising under some US state laws. You can opt out by deleting your advertising ID or turning off ad personalization in your device settings, or by emailing us.

8. Children

The Game is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age set by the law of your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

All network traffic of the Game is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Our database security rules let a signed-in Game account write only its own records and do not let any player read them. Access to our Firebase and RevenueCat consoles is limited to the developer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy when the Game changes. The new version will be posted at this address with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will also tell you in the Game, for example by asking you to review and accept the updated Policy.
